Fun at the Park

We had so much fun at the park during the week that we decided to take another trip this weekend.  This time, we found a brand new play area that Kendley and Maverick really liked!  It was a little colder out than we expected so we didn't stay long.

Evening at the Park

Jeff came home early one day last week so that we could enjoy a nice evening at the park.  The weather has been unusually nice here and we finally decided to take advantage of it!

Kendley's Big Girl Room and TBD's Nursery

When we found out we were expecting another member of the family, Jeff and I decided that Kendley would switch rooms and her nursery would be transformed into a boy's room.
TBD's Room:  The nursery was already green, so we didn't have to paint.  Jeff wanted TBD to have a sports themed room, so we ordered a sports crib set.  My mom and sister came to visit and help put together the rest of the room.  It was fun going around to different stores in the area to find things to go on his walls.  It's still strange to walk by and see boy stuff!  We are getting close to his arrival and it feels great to know his room is ready for him when he decides to make his debut!

We are going to add his name above the crib.
Kendley got plenty of attention from her Oma and Auntie M during the visit!  She was so excited to see them every morning when she woke up.

Kendley's Big Girl Room:  Jeff painted Kendley's big girl room a light pink color.  Her bedding, chair and pink mirror were Christmas presents from family and the rest we put together with items we already had.  I think it turned out super cute!  Kendley loves her big girl room and slept through the night right away in her new bed.  We turned the bed around so that she can't roll out during the night and so far, it was worked great!

Christmas Time

We spent Christmas at our house this year.  Jeff and I wanted Kendley to be able to wake up at her house and start our own family traditions.  Kendley didn't quite get the concept of Santa, but she did enjoy shouting "ho ho ho" anywhere we went!  Jeff's parents came to visit a few days before Christmas, and my parents came Christmas Eve and spent a few days KC.  It was so nice having family here to celebrate with us.  We are so blessed to have the families that we do!
